In the on-site agency at the resort, it is possible to rent a car or to book a seat in the shuttle bus (extra chargeable).

What is the cost for a shuttle bus to Old Town per person? How often is there a shuttle bus to Old Town? Is there a public bus station nearby?

Shuttle bus service is arranged by the on-site agency (rates & schedule are subject to change). Public bus station is about 100m away from the Hotel.

Are there ironing facilities in the rooms? Or would it be provided by asking for?

Ironing board and iron can be provided upon request, free of charge.

Shuttle buses and boats are not free of charge. In the peak of season, these are operating several times during the day. OnE way shuttle bus to Dubrovnik costs 7 EUR.

Dear, Thank you for your question. Yes, we have boat shuttle service to the Old Town. The price of a 1 way ticket is approximately 13 EUR, and a two way ticket would be approximately 20 EUR

Very Good
It is a very big resort with a lot of activities, beach, sports, very good spa. It is excellent for families and big groups.
It is far from locations. Overpriced restaurants. Water bottle in the room cost 10 Euro.

Week break to relax and unwind
This is the second time that we have stayed at Sun Gardens in an apartment. The first time was summer 2021 just when the hotel was ramping up post COVID. This time all of the kids clubs, activities and entertainment were available. The complex is really fantastic to relax without ever feeling overwhelmed by the number of people. The sports facilities are excellent and we were never stuck for a poolside lounger. Big shout out to the wonderfully friendly, considerate and helpful breakfast staff in particular the lady who welcomed us on our arrival the first morning who seemed to be the Manager. The Croatian buffet with traditionnel folk dancing was really great and the food choices were wonderful.
Despite having requested and paid for a specific apartment type we had to request a change to our initial room. This was a little disappointing as we had exchanged with the hotel per our request. The staff are always polite and friendly however the restaurants still seemed to be overwhelmed by demand and the waiting time is not 5 star. Since the adoption of the euro and with inflation prices are significantly higher than in 2021 at the grocery store and poolside orders. I can understand a premium for convenience but the fees e.g €5 for an industrial ice-cream is exaggerated. The pasta restaurant is the most reasonably priced. The newer traditional Croatian restaurant is a nice addition but pricey with starters from €16. Transport options to Dubrovnic are made available at an additional cost but the times and places are limited so prebooking is essential.
